Please read carefully the clinic policies of Cam Osteopathy Limited. The clinic policies are regarding arrivals at the clinic, rescheduling and cancellation, late arrivals and missed appointments.
Enquiries and Appointment Bookings
We accept enquiries and appointment bookings by Email, Telephone Call and Text Message. Though we do not offer online booking yet.
Please note if you attempt to book an appointment or enquiry by email, please give us plenty of time to respond.
Arrival for your Appointment
Please make sure you arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to continue the smooth running of the clinic diary of our Osteopaths. Then wait patiently in reception, where a receptionist can help you.
Resheduling and Cancellation
Please note we operate a 24 hour notice policy, therefore if you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please do this at least 24 hours before the scheduled time and date of the appointment.
Rescheduling and cancellations that happens within 24 hours will subject to a charge to patients. We are very strict about this in our Cambridge Clinic, as operate out of Salus Wellness. Salus Wellness Limited will enforce the room rental charges on Cam Osteopathy Limited that are irreversible within 24 hours of the clinic room booking.
Though we more lenient in our Waterbeach clinic, as we do not incur any room rental charges, practicing here. However fines could still incurred within our 24 hours notice policy.
Cancelling or rescheduling less than 24 hours before your appointment can also prevent some else from having the same time slot. Which is not fair on the person that might be in considerable amount of pain and needs an appointment as soon as possible.
So please be considerate to reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours or so before the scheduled appointment. As this does affect our Osteopaths income.
Running Late for Appointments
If you are running late for an appointment, please call or text message us to let know your where your are on route to your appointment. Otherwise you will receive a telephone call approximately 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time from the Osteopath asking where you are.
Please bear in mind that arriving late, may force the Osteopath to shorten to the time allocated to your appointment in order to avoid late running in the clinic schedule and to avoid inconviencing other patients booked in for an appointment. As it is quite likely the Osteopath can be running back to back appointments.
If you are severely late (20-30+ minutes) for your appointment or miss your appointment, you will still be liable for full cost of the appointment. This is to factor in the Osteopaths time being wasted and the room rental fees incurred at Salus Wellness in Cambridge.
