Private Healthcare Insurance Providers That Cover Cam Osteopathy
Which Private Healthcare Insurance Companies is Cam Osteopathy registered with?
We are registered with the WPA, Vitality and Aviva. We currently do not offer care on AXA’s healthcare plans as they have capped Osteopaths fees below the going rate for Cambridge and Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire.
What are the requirements for an Osteopath to provide care with Private Healthcare insurance?
The Osteopath must have at least 1 years Post-graduate experience, have a recognised qualification, be registered with the general osteopathic council and have professional indemnity insurance.
If you have private healthcare insurance yourself or provided by your company, then fees for services at Cam Osteopathy should be covered by your insurance policy. Though with some Insurance provided you may have claim back the fees from the insurance company.
Proof of Consulation / Treatment and Fees incurred to make an Insurance Claim
We can write a letter / produce a sales receipt as proof of your consultation and treatment with an Osteopath. So you can make insurance claim against your private health insurance provider. This can either be printed out for you or sent by email to you.
Making a Claim on your Behalf
We can also invoice your insurance provider on your behalf. Though this will require you to pre-authorize treatment with your insurance provider.
